You can now (or should) develop the IT for an insurance product in-house. Boss in your own belly: that's efficient and insightful.

Product development
Everyone can come up with an insurance product.
- an insurance for holders of fish an aquarium or pond;
- an insurance for postal dispatch of animals;
- an insurance for solar panels;
- a cremation policy for pets, whether or not incl. funeral and condolence;
- a third-party insurance policy for owners of a banned electric scooter;
- an accident insurance policy for acrobats;
- an insurance policy for film or video producers;
- insurance that pays out in case of unexpected guardianship;
- a holiday rain insurance policy;
- an insurance policy that pays out if the neighbour wins a sum of money in the Postcode Lottery;
- a sunshine-too-short insurance policy;
Let the imagination run wild and you can't think of a crazy thing or an insurance form can be devised for it.

Market research
Before it makes sense to work out an insurance product, it must be established whether there is a reasonable chance that the product will be purchased/underwritten by many.
If all fish breeders are interested in an insurance form, it is a very different story from if only Koi carp breeders are interested in it.
See how it goes with avian flu: as soon as it occurs in one location, all the ducks are culled and perhaps the turkeys next door.

Spreading of risk
And obviously, the spreading of risk must be clarified.
If there is insufficient spreading of risk, the insurer is far too vulnerable.
In fact, insurance is always about "bearing each other's burdens", so then it is very important to have sufficient income, which can cover the burdens.

Insurance package
An insurance product can be modified in many ways for the benefit of customers.
An insurance product that should be of interest to individuals can be built as an insurance package, including coverage for:

  • the household contents

  • a home

  • a home

  • private liability

  • legal expenses

  • rider's insurance<

  • ride insurance/p>

  • temporary aov cover parents additional childcare costs

  • moped insurance

    The composition of the product should only suit the target group you have in mind.

    Special target groups
    If you want to attract a special target group to an insurance product, then of course that product should be given a special name such as:

  • Package Policy for Thatched Homes

  • Patient Risk Policy

  • Package policy for VVE Company buildings
    The signature of the product is essential for marketing.

    Whether or not to use an intermediary
    Products you wish to offer through the intermediary should have a clear presentation and, if possible, a Quality Scan.
    When using the advisory intermediary, account should be taken of a good relationship between efforts to be made and the remuneration,
    and this remuneration should be proportional to the savings you can make on costs you would otherwise have to incur internally.

    In other words : before IT has managed to analyse and programme all this for you, you will be years down the line and it will be questionable whether they have processed everything as you envisaged.
